Getting online
What to prepare before we build your business website
You don’t need to know how to code. You just need the details that help someone understand and contact your business.
Start with the essentials
Gather your business name, contact details, location or service area, and the opening hours you want to publish. Check that each detail is up to date.
Explain your services as you would to a customer
List your main services and the questions people often ask. A visitor should understand what you do even if they know nothing about your trade.
Choose images you can use
Your team, workplace and completed projects make the website more personal. Supply photographs you have permission to use. Stock or AI-generated images can support the design, but should not be presented as completed client work.
Choose the next step
Do you want phone calls, enquiries or quote requests? Decide what you want a visitor to do so the website has a clear purpose.
Send one complete brief
Your first website is delivered within five business days after we receive your completed brief. Putting the details together first helps us build around your business.
